Michael Maxwell McAllum idolizes the superhero known as Perfect Man. After Perfect Man retires, Michael suspects that his wonderful new teacher, Mr. Clark, is really Perfect Man in disguise. Mr. Clark explains that Michael has his own super power--a talent for writing--and the boy grows up to become a best-selling author. The color illustrations are comical, but the story is heavy-handed.
