AudioFile Magazine
Featured in this package are three complete chapter books about a likable fourth-grade aardvark. Mark Linn-Baker is a fun and lively reader who does a good job capturing the various characters. The stories stand well on their own, particularly "Locked in the Library" and the private-eye pastiche, "Arthur Accused." Despite these pluses, listeners won't have the benefit of Marc Brown's illustrations, and fans of the TV series will miss the voices of the other cast members and the Ziggy Marley theme music. S.E.S.
