French All Talk, Part 14

The All Talk French Language Course is all-audio, allowing you the opportunity to learn on-the-go, taking advantage of time normally wasted. You're not tied to a computer to learn. You don't need to sit at a desk and study. Whether you want to upload the course to your iPod or other Mp3 player, you can change the world into your classroom. No accompanying books are needed to help you complete the lesson activities. All Talk French follows a storyline format which keeps you entertained as you acquire your new language and begin to understand the culture. Listen and learn French at your own pace as you follow the fun and engaging storyline of Jane on her travels around Paris. In this course, you will learn starting from a beginner/basic level of speaking and advance to a high-intermediate/low-advanced level of speaking. With Linguaphone's unique learning methodology – 'Listen, Understand, Speak '- you'll learn communication skills in a variety of everyday circumstances and learn how to interact with native speakers at every turn. You are presented with a unit of the language and then it is broken down and explained to you. Next, you put it back together with greater understanding than just repeating what you may not have understood in the first place. You will: learn practical French vocabulary for everyday situations; acquire the ability to speak, listen and write basic French; develop an authentic French accent. Sample topics covered are: meeting and greeting; booking a hotel room; ordering food and drink; attending a business meeting. In addition to the 16 hours of audio instruction, the course includes a downloadable (PDF) accompanying handbook that provides a complete list of all 2000+ words of vocabulary taught in the audio format.
