A Case at Christmas and Other Adventures

ebook

Sherlock Holmes makes a welcome return in this second collection of previously unpublished adventures from Doctor Watson's case notes.

Ranging across the illustrious detective's long career, N. M. Scott presents ten new cases in which Holmes and Watson investigate hauntings, grave robberies, art theft and the seemingly inexplicable disappearance of a priceless violin.

Even the great Sherlock Holmes is at times hard pressed: finding himself on an American speaking tour he wishes he had never agreed to, and confronted with one of those most rare of phenomena: a case he is completely unable to solve and would rather consign to the waste-bin near his Persian slipper. Doctor Watson however, is rather more keen to furnish us with the facts...

Those who enjoyed The Missing Earl and Other New Adventures will take huge pleasure in joining the world's greatest detective as he embarks on solving A Case at Christmas and other tantalising mysteries.

N. M. Scott was born and educated in south London, and after a career in advertising moved to the Sussex coast where he now lives and works in Rottingdean. He maintains a lifelong interest in the history of transport, along with church architecture and, of course, the 'Canon' of Sherlock Holmes. He has previously published two other books with Book Guild Publishing, including another set of Sherlock Holmes stories.
