Dell'Antonia's (In Her Boots) latest combines fantasy, light romance, and a touch of mystery, maintaining a cozy feeling while addressing more serious familial and relationship issues. Narrator Jesse Vilinsky thoughtfully depicts Flair's internal struggles, shining as she portrays the tender, emotional moments of the plot. With expert pacing, Vilinsky keeps the story moving to its unpredictable, suspenseful climax. VERDICT Dell'Antonia brings cozy autumn vibes to a sincere family saga with an unexpected touch of suspense.
